In July 1999 Michael Jackson asked Arno Bani to do an exceptional and secret photo shoot with him. The result of these two days together was 700 exclusive, artistic, unique photographs. They have been acquired by Pierre Bergé & Associates and will be sold in Paris in December 2010. There are 12 unique, never-before-seen large-format portraits as well as the complete contact plates annotated by The King of Pop. This will be a major event, for Michael Jackson fans and the general public the world over. Pierre Bergé’s auctions attract worldwide interest, such as the Yves Saint Laurent sale in February 2009. The book will have the entire collection of photographs and is destined to become a rare collector’s item. Michael Jackson allowed Arno Bani complete artistic freedom and he therefore created 4 different scenarios and chose some of the greatest professionals from the fashion world to work with him: Yves Saint Laurent, François Lesage, Topolino, Seb Bascle, Frédérique Lorca, Maïda, etc.
